Hi, I’m Sean, the designer, developer, and problem-solver behind designICU—a one-person creative studio dedicated to helping nonprofits and mission-driven companies thrive online.
For over three decades, I’ve worked at the intersection of design, technology, and purpose. My career started in commercial print design, but I quickly expanded into the digital space, developing deep expertise in WordPress websites that are clean, fast, and easy to manage.
Today, I focus exclusively on helping nonprofits clear digital bottlenecks, strengthen their web presence, and amplify their mission online.

More About Me
When I’m not working on design projects, you’ll find me hiking the mountains of the Catskills, from where I run a popular resource for hikers called mountain-hiking.com. I also enjoy baking, and I’m very likely to bring homemade treats to the trail (and to meetings) when I can.
But the most important role in my life is being a father. My daughter Ellie is my greatest inspiration—a brilliant, hard-working young woman currently thriving in college. She beats me up every day on the New York Times games.
